Arts and Craft Vintage Backyard Wedding

SEPTEMBER 8, 2012

This event is true to my heart,  my second daughter Hailey's wedding to Andy.    They are young but strong and committed.  I thank the Lord,  I do not have quarrel with my daughters about party design.  I listen to my girls like I would a client,  Plus who knows their kids more than their mother.

Phase 1, Where, what colors and how many people are the first questions.  Where; chose our home.  Colors; grey and purple.  How many guests;  100 max.  That was really difficult, but we met our challenges.

Phase 2;  Menu, logistics of how we were going to pull this off.

Phase 3;  Ideas of purpose and hashed out.  Creating all the elements down to seating charts table centerpieces to design of tables in backyard for flow.    Food station flow needed to be established.  Despise long lines at events.

A facelift on the front, side and backyard was in order.  Wanted it to feel warm and homey yet elegant.

Phase 4:  Hired my favorite photographer, and everything was perfect.  Took a couple of days to get it all together and we were ready to marry.

Bride/groom and parents were very happy with the outcome.  The wedding was filled with close family and friends.  A awesome turn out and fun night.
